Data Policy

Provenance and trust are our product.

So we operate with the same integrity we build into our certifications · we treat your information the way we treat a signed record: minimal, attributable, and protected. This is a plain-language summary, not a contract.

What this policy covers

This is the policy for greenboxlabs.ai. It explains how GREENBOX Labs, Inc. handles the information from your visit to this website and any message you send through it. That is all it covers: our site traffic, our telemetry, and what you choose to send us.

Who we are

GREENBOX Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation with its principal office in Weehawken, New Jersey, is the controller of the personal information described here.

What we collect, and why

Only what the website needs. Contact details (your name, work email, company, and your message) when you reach out, so we can respond. Website and technical data (IP address, device and browser, pages viewed, referrer, approximate non-precise location), collected automatically through analytics, to run, secure, and improve the site. We do not knowingly collect sensitive information, or anything from anyone under 16.

Cookies and your consent

Two kinds, and you are in control. Essential cookies keep the site working and are always on. Analytics cookies are first-party, do not identify you, and stay off until you accept them in our banner, the prior opt-in EU and UK rules require. You can withdraw consent at any time, and where required we honor recognized browser opt-out signals. We run no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use and share it

We use the information to respond to you, to run and secure the website, to comply with law, and to protect our rights. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context or targeted advertising. We share with service providers only as needed to run the site (hosting, email, analytics, our cloud provider), each bound by contract to use the data only to serve us. We may disclose it to comply with law or to protect our rights, and in a merger or sale it may transfer as a business asset subject to this policy. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are your consent (analytics cookies), our legitimate interest in running and improving the site, the steps you ask us to take, and compliance with law.

Improving and training our products

We may use aggregated and de-identified telemetry and technical data, such as how the site is used and performance and error signals, to operate, secure, improve, and develop our products and models. We do not use the content of your messages to train models. Once information is aggregated or de-identified so that it no longer identifies you, it is no longer personal information.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, plus a reasonable period afterward, then we delete or de-identify it. Ask us to delete your information at any time and we will, subject to limited legal-retention exceptions.

Security

We protect the information covered here with encryption in transit, least-privilege access, and monitoring. No method is perfectly secure; we practice defense-in-depth and detectability rather than claiming invulnerability.

Where we process it

We are a US company and process this information in the United States. Where we receive personal information from the EU or UK, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards for the transfer.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your information, to opt out of certain processing, and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights. EU and UK residents have rights under the GDPR; California and other US-state residents have rights under their state privacy laws. Contact us to make a request and we will verify and respond as the law requires. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post changes here with a new effective date and, where required, notify you or ask for consent.
